Private Comprehensive Childbirth Class - $450
Includes 6 hours of class, tailored to fit your needs, questions and concerns. Whether you choose to have a hospital birth, a home birth or to birth in a birth center, you will receive the most current and up to date research to help you make informed decisions that are best for your family. Each session will last 2-2.5 hours and will typically be done in 2-3 consecutive days or weeks depending on scheduling and proximity to your due date. Includes materials . One make up class can be scheduled, if necessary. $100 deposit to register. Contact me here to find out about availability. Balance due at first class. (Travel fee may apply to 30+min away).
Birth Doula Services- $2500
This package includes 2 prenatal visits, continuous text/email support during pregnancy, access to my lending library & resource list & 24 hour on call service beginning at 38 weeks. Family will receive continuous emotional and physical support during active labor as well as 2 hour immediate postpartum care and 2 postpartum visits: the first at 48-72 hours & the second at 4 or 6 weeks (with an option for an additional in person or virtual visit at 2-3 weeks at no additional cost). Our initial consultation interview is always complimentary. (Check out my virtual support options if you are interested in a more hands off/educational/informational approach).
Little Star Package- $2800
This option includes both comprehensive childbirth class & birth doula services. It also includes the Newborn Basics class.
Newborn Basics- $100
We spend so much time preparing for birth, but what about when baby comes home? This 4th trimester group class can help prepare you for newborn basics including topics such as: newborn screenings, diapering , umbilical cord care, newborn hunger signs, breastfeeding positions, postpartum nutrition, postpartum mood disorders, and the first days and weeks of postpartum recovery care for mothers (as well as how partners, friends and family can support new mothers). This class that will leave you with a solid postpartum care plan to help you bond with your new baby and fully embrace “the fourth trimester”. Register here.
Comfort Measures- $200
Focused on relaxation, positions and movements that will help provide comfort during labor, this class will help you prepare for labor and how you can cope in the best way for you. We will discuss partner support, guided relaxation and breathing techniques all designed to prepare the laboring woman for childbirth. Includes affirmation coloring sheets & birth plan review. Breast/Chestfeeding Support- $230 Initial Visit (90-120 minutes)/ $175 follow up (60 minutes)
As a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, I can help you address common concerns on your breast/chest feeding journey by conducting and documenting an assessment and devising plan of care in uncomplicated breastfeeding situations. I can provide instruction & coaching in optimal feeding positions, latch, frequency, and duration of feedings as well as parameters for infant output. During our visit I will assess effective feeding and milk transfer and provide instructions for parents of preterm or late preterm infants in establishing and maintaining a milk supply. This visit can include help regarding selection of a breast pump and maintaining milk supply and milk storage.
